Dr. Franc CUS is professor Cutting technology, Cutting tools, Advanced technologie. He is head of Cutting Systems Laboratory, head of project group group Advanced cutting technology, member of National quality and acreditation board (Slovenian Ministra of Science and technology) , member of of DAAAM International, Vienna (Danube Adria Association for Automation and Manufacturing) and member of World academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering . He is the author of over 70 original scientific papers for the world’s leading journals and over 200 papers in peer-reviewed international scientific conferences covering cutting technology, intelligent manufacturing and advanced cutting technologies. He was invited lecturer in several international scientific conferences and at foreign universities. He is author or co-author of scientific monographs and university textbooks.
